News for Terraria 1.4 version players:
About Multiplayer Terraria edition app. Terraria 1.4 version is supported. Now you can host and join worlds. Private mode is not necessary anymore. To protect world you can host world with password. Someone also can join your world only using ONLINE method (like private server). Create game, share your server code from this app to OTHER player. OTHER must enter IP: terraria.ogn.space, port: <your server code>. OTHER can join your world without our app. To host game in Terraria you must go to "Multiplayer" > select player -> "Play" -> in "Local" click on "Host" -> choose your world -> "Play" -> "Play".About Servers for Terraria app. It works with new Terraria version.
Multiplayer Terraria edition issues:
Issue 1: Can't connect to VPN. Error received - "The L2TP-VPN server did not respond. Try reconnecting. If the problem continues, verify your settings and contact your Administrator.
Solution 1:
Problem can be related with your internet provider or your WiFi router settings. If you have access to your router please try to find something with "VPN passthrough" or "L2TP passthrough" and enable it.
In App Setup page try to use "Option 2" - OpenVPN. It will work without any WiFi router configuration changes.
